This project is a public engagement resource and science communication tool that explains the process of making a diagnosis in the lab. 

The journey of a blood sample is the second in a series of videos that help to explain to the public what happens after their sample has been sent off for tests.

The content was trailed on social media with adapted shorter content. This pulled users off scrolling social media and onto YouTube where they are likely to spend more time investing in the content.

The social content did extremely well online, reaching over 40k people.

Collaborating with the hospital's pathology department who took part, we wrote an article for the Institute of Biomedical Science's magazine about the project.
